FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gear makes it possible to exclude unnecessary operation of main protection in case of malfunction of high-frequency communication channels of subsets of protection. Necessary effect of operation of main protection is achieved thanks to connection of high-frequency transceivers to high-frequency processors of electric power line through proper band-pass filters and thyristors providing due to mutual cross connection of controlling electrodes for joint transmission of high-frequency signals to high-frequency receivers only in case of presence of high-frequency signals from both high-frequency transmitters from each side of protected electric power line with action of stand-by protection if main protection of electric power line is barred.
