FIELD: medicine, pharmacology. SUBSTANCE: the following species of medicinal plants are used for treatment of chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis, g: species 1: purging buck-thorn fruits 18-23; celandine herb 28-33; hop cones 18-23; fennel seeds 18-23; dandleon root 38-43. Species 2: thyme herb 28-33; matricary flowers 18-23; pot-marigold flowers 28-33. Species 3: chicory root 28-33; shepherd's purse herb 28-33; common immortelle flowers 48-53; peppermint leaves 28-33; Saint-John's-wort herb 78-83; knot-grass herb 58-63; birch leaves 28-33; cudweed root 38-43; milfoil flowers 38-43. Dose of Species 1 is 50± 5 ml infusion, 3 times per a day before eating; Species 2 - 100± 5 ml infusion, 3 times per a day after eating; Species 3 - 100± 5 ml infusion, 3 times per a day, 1 h before eating. EFFECT: shortened period of treatment (up to 1-3 months).
