FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: hack saw has a removable handle and a set of different-width hack saw blades, having different configuration teeth on both sides along a width of several blades. The blades, having teeth at both sides of their width, have V-shaped free ends. A set of hack saw blades for timber working is provided by a frame with a tensioning device for setting blades for metal working. The frame is provided by a rectangular strip for removable joining of the frame to the handle. The strip has an end surface on its free end a surface, engaging with a bottom of a slot of a fork-like part, rigidly connected with the handle with use of a sleeve and U-shaped bracket. The sleeve is joined with the bracket and the fork-part by welding. The handle is connected with the U-shaped bracket by rivets. Free edges of the bracket have the same shape as the handle. The blades or the frame are mounted with use of a screw with a wing nut. EFFECT: enlarged range of hack saw. 5 cl, 5 dwg
