FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: device has body 1 with groove 4 to accommodate an end of U-shaped metal bar 2 with a cut-off 3. Body 1 has two parallel cavities, located symmetrically relatively axis of groove 4 and communicating with it, and key-hole 19, communicating with two parallel cavities. Spring-loaded movable locking rods are mounted in the cavities. The rods are engaged with cut-off 3 of U-shaped metal bar of the lock. Locking bars have slanting teeth 9, 10, inclined to one side. Angles of inclination of teeth 9, 10 differ from each other by a small value, that is impossible to distinguish visually. The key head has slant cutouts to be engaged with corresponding teeth 9, 10 of locking bars. Hole 19 has threaded drilling 25, located on the side, opposite to direction of the key insertion. Threaded stopper 26 is set in the drilling. One butt of stopper 26 is used to prevent the key motion for its working step value. The other butt, flush-mounted with the wall of body 1, has groove 27, made according to form of the key head end. EFFECT: locking device is used for locking big gates. 3 cl, 4 dwg
