FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: converter has flexible chamber 1 with canal 3, that is fixed by its butts to mating joints 4 and 5 and is embraced by a set of elastic pullings 6 also fixed by the ends to joints 4 and 5. Pullings 6 have one-sided bulges, edges of which have stops (catches) 11. During working medium feeding under pressure in chamber it is puffed up, bending pullings 6 and closing mating joints 4 and 5 with definite working effort and stops 11 catch correspondingly neighboring pullings 6 and so forming ring type tightening. EFFECT: converter decreases power consumption. 6 dwg
