FIELD: drives of vehicles, conveyers. SUBSTANCE: line motor has rotor-wheel 1 which rim 2 is fabricated in the form of ferromagnetic comb. Electromagnets 4 are put on guide 3 above rim 2. Rotor-wheel moves over support 6 which has fluted coat 7. With supply of pulse feed to coils 5 of electromagnets travelling magnetic field is formed along guide 3 which acts on rotor-wheel 1 forcing it to turn and move in step with magnetic flux.
