FIELD: conversion equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conversion equipment of increased power of different types and purpose. Salient feature of converter lies in restructuring of conversion link (for instance, inverter) working on higher frequency which provides for sufficient neutralization of harmful effects of leakage inductance of windings of transformer. This is achieved by use of transformer with multisectional primary winding and by successive switching-over of one half of windings from parallel connection to series one and back with the help of diodes and keys. Thanks to this current in primary windings flows continuously with definite partial modulation of its value which results in pronounced suppression of effects of spurious inductances.
