FIELD: tool manufacture. SUBSTANCE: textile fabric is taken as a base, and thermoplastic polymer fibers are introduced into the structure of the fabric. Polymer fibers of the base have a flow temperature higher than the flow point of the fibers. Abrasive is applied prior to heating the base to flow temperature of fibers, or before rolling. Bundles of polymer fibers are formed at a temperature equal to or higher than the flow temperature. Base with abrasive is rolled at a temperature equal to or lower than the temperature of softening of polymer fibers of the bundle. The difference between the flow temperature of polymer fibers of the base and polymer fibers of the bundle is at least 20 C. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the method. 2 cl, 3 dwg
