FIELD: precision measurement engineering. SUBSTANCE: compression resistance strain gauge sensor has a body. Three racks and two vertical walls form an elastic member. Two resistance strain gauges, connected with the first two racks, are placed on both sides of the first vertical wall. The second vertical wall is shifted in relation to the first one in perpendicular direction. The third rack is located on one side of the first two racks and is connected by the second wall with the nearest to it second rack. Force accepting member is mounted on the third rack along a vertical axis, located between vertical walls. EFFECT: compression resistance strain gauge sensor is used for precise measurements of small compression forces. 1 dwg
