FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: working unit of tea picking apparatus has at least one pair of rollers 7 and 8, fixed on shafts 6 and located in parallel to each other, and a driving mechanism. Rollers 7 and 8 have working units 12 and 13, that contact each other in working zone. Rollers 7 and 8 are mounted at an angle to horizontal plane of inclination in direction of the machine movement and are positioned along generatrix of frame 1 of a working unit. Each of rollers 7 and 8 is mounted in bodies 5 of case shape form, side surfaces of which have windows for the working units passage. Besides, pattern of ends of working units 12 and 13 of any one roller (7 or 8) in a pair is made salient and pattern of ends of working units 12 and 13 of another roller (7 or 8) in the pair is made salient or concave.
