FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: prior to starting ground mining, frequency of mechanical vibrations of ground thinning is determined. Then, elastic pressure waves whose energy spectra includes ground thinning frequencies are excited by multiple cyclic-recurrent exhausts of high-pressure air in water near ground intake. These waves are used to act on ground during deepening of ground intake and in case of its reduced efficiency. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
