LOOSE MATERIAL SAMPLING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: quality control of loose materials, taking samples of grain from motor-vehicles. SUBSTANCE: sampling apparatus has samplers in the form of concentrical outer and inner tubes mounted on a carriage vertically moving in stationary guides over a platform for a motor-vehicle. The inner tube is in communication with pneumatic transport by its upper end and is rotatably mounted on inner one. Its lower end is provided with sprocket interacting through an endles chain with an electric drive. The apparatus furthermore has a spring-loaded bushing definitely-movably mounted within the cavity of inner tube. The bushing is provided with a plurality of openings on the end extending from the tube and with shank on the upper end. There is a magnet interacting with a sealed-contact reed relay on the shank. The sealed-contact reed relay is mounted on the outer surface of the inner tube and electrically coupled with the drive and a timer providing a reversible operation of the drives. The supports of samplers are made in the form of frames with journals locked by protection detents and protect the sampling apparatus from damage. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, reliability. 6 cl, 4 dwg
