FIELD: forensic criminalistics. SUBSTANCE: area of damages is investigated by means of stereomicroscope. Availability of colored microparticles is measured. Then it should be determined if the particle belongs to varnished coverings of cartridges and compared with microparticles of varnish, achieved experimentally from cartridges be tested. Belonging of the microparticles to varnished overings of the cartridges is determined from dissolubility of the particles in ethanol, acetone, diphenilamine dissolved in concentrated sulfuric acid, from flash test and from testing in UV-beams or after being subjected to chemical attack.
