FIELD: centrifugal pumps. SUBSTANCE: sealing system has adjusting bush whose outer wall is provided with circular recess 2 and its inner wall 3 is mounted in spaced relation to impeller hub and flange 4 with whose help the adjusting bush is secured to pump housing 6 by means of bolts 5. Sealing ring 7 made of flexible wear-resistant material is reinforced with rigid rings 8 and 9. Ring 7 is located between inner and outer walls and is sealed by means of projection 10. Ring is engageable with shoulder 11 of impeller. Pipe line 12 is brought in communication with clearance 15 between impeller drive disk and housing which is to be sealed through passage 13 in the housing and holes 14. Holes 14 are mad in bush outer wall 1 in area where sealing ring is engageable with shoulder 11; holes 14 are brought in communication by means of manifold 16. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
