FIELD: chemical-to-electric energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic electric generator has cylindrical anode and cathode which are anode and cathode compositions with current leads and separator; both electrodes are made as pyrotechnic charges having diameter-to-height ratio of 2.0 to 2.5; anode is made as pyrotechnic charge with fuel excess and cathode as that with excess oxidizing agent; separator is made of porous dielectric isolating anode from cathode. Cathode composition is made of mixture containing lead fluoride, aluminium, lithium fluoride in the following proportion, mass percent: lead fluoride - 82.8-94.6; lithium fluoride - 3.0-12.0; aluminium - 2.1-5.8.
