FIELD: repair of tractor hydraulic distributors. SUBSTANCE: method involves boring annular slot in idle chord of slide valve disposed in cylinder cavity; manufacturing and mounting stop formed as semi-circular member with conical outer surface in slot and securing it against turning over; drilling connecting opening of cylinder cavity of hydraulic distributor body to predetermined size for receiving union and carrying out additional thread cutting; mounting hydraulic gate in the opening by driving hydraulic gate chuck into seat till minimum gap between inner end of chuck and slide valve generatrix is obtained, with adhesive hermetic being preliminarily applied to chuck threaded surface prior to mounting it. EFFECT: increased efficiency by effective returning of slide valves back to service. 5 dwg
