FIELD: working of mining deposits. SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting worn belt and connecting it with the end of new belt fed to conveyor by rope, which is connected to pulling mechanism disposed in mine entry; drilling well from surface into entry so that it opens to conveyor flight; positioning additional pulling mechanism on surface; positioning length of belt to be replaced in opposed relation to well; lowering rope into well and connecting the end of belt length to be replaced with rope; lifting the length of belt to be replaced onto surface by means of additional pulling mechanism; connecting the end of new belt length with rope of additional pulling mechanism; lowering rope into well and connecting with pulling mechanism in mine entry for lowering new belt length. Belt replacement method may be realized for conveyors position in mine entries to depth allowing drilling and of well. EFFECT: increased efficiency of method. 7 dwg
