DEVICE FOR LOADING TOBACCO-CARRYING FRAMES INTO DRYING CHAMBER Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: tobacco production, particularly post-harvesting processing of tobacco leaves. SUBSTANCE: device comprises lifting frame with horizontal shelves capable of moving vertically over guides. Frame is loaded into drying chamber by pusher comprising spring-loaded sinking projections and rollers mounted on levers articulated on frame. The device is powered by electric drive. The frame is installed on horizontal shelves before pusher projections. The frame moves upward and the horizontal shelves stop when they reach the limiting stops. Further movement of the frame sets in motion the pusher due to inclination of levers and interaction of rollers with shelves. The pusher projections move small frame from frame shelves onto guides of drying chamber tier. The drive is reversed, the frame starts going down and comes by gravity to initial position. During interaction of horizontal shelves with limiting stops the pusher with projections comes to initial position and the cycle is repeated over again. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
