FIELD: construction of road and airfield pavements. SUBSTANCE: pavement comprises sand bed from unidimensional sand particles exceeding 0.1 mm in diameter with heterogeneity coefficient up to 3, an interlayer of nonwoven porous synthetic material sunk into bed under covering expansion joints, and a covering made from prefabricated slabs. Interposed between interlayer and covering is an additional layer of 0.9-1.1 the width of the expansion joint from unidimensional rounded sand with a grain size factor of 2-3.5. The voids in the layer of sand and interlayer as well as expansion joints are filled with flexible sealing material. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 4 dwg, 4 tbl
