FIELD: tightness testing of units and hydraulic systems. SUBSTANCE: article 8 is filled with liquid under test pressure, held out and connected in the course of holding with additional container 12 under pressure higher than the test pressure, and tightness is estimated by changes of pressure in article 8. The article is connected with additional container 12 at the beginning of holding time. Holding time lasts as long as it is necessary for pressure in article 8 to reach initial value. Tightness is estimated by time elapsing from the beginning of holding to the moment when pressure in article 8 reaches initial value. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
