FIELD: ship's piping systems. SUBSTANCE: shaped ring is located between connecting and superposed rings. Steel wire cord is secured by clamping the nipple, by bands on its cylindrical portion, and by two circular grooves whose depth is larger than the band thickness. The ring, nipple and cord are coated with rubber reinforced by fabric gaskets. One groove of nipple is covered by throw-on flange wherein the diameter of its central hole is equal to the sum of the outside diameter of nipple cylindrical portion and twice the cord diameter. Its end is turned over towards the inside end face of throw-on flange and is secured by additional band. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
