FIELD: ventilation systems. SUBSTANCE: air removing and cleaning device has housing 1, corona-discharge unit 2 with settling electrodes 3 and corona-forming electrodes 4 with fixed discharge points 5, partition 6 adjoining the perforated wall 7 of housing 1 and dividing unit 2 into sections 8 and 9. Holes 10 in electrodes 3 and 4 and partition 6 form central axial channel 11. Fixed discharge points 5 are oriented along gas-air flow, i.e. towards axis of channel 11 in lower section 9 and away from axis of channel in upper section 8. With voltage applied to supply source of corona-discharge unit directional movement of gas-air flow without additional draft is provided. Gas-air flow gets cleaned from impurities and ionized under action of electrostatic field. EFFECT: enhanced cleaning of air. 4 dwg
