FIELD: manufacture of ceramic materials. SUBSTANCE: ceramic stock includes 51 to 59 percent by mass Gusevskii porcelain stone, 4 to 7 percent by mass nepheline concentrate, 13 to 15 percent by mass aegirite concentrate, 10 to 12 percent by mass plastic clay, and 13 to 15 per cent by mass black pigment. It is prepared by slicker method. Slicker parameters: moisture content - 29 to 30 % and residue on sieve No. 63 - 0.5 to 1.0 %. Resultant slicker is molded into plates each measuring 100 by 70 by 7 mm. Thus prepared moldings are dried and then roasted at maximum temperature of 1150 to 1160 C. Roasted products are then ground. Physical parameters of finished products: water absorption - 0 to 0.03 %, absorption coefficient - 94 to 95 %, Mohs' hardness - 6; color of streaks produced by rubbing plate product are clearly discernible.
