FIELD: temperature control facilities. SUBSTANCE: direct-action temperature controller has case accommodating temperature sensing element built up of fixed shell whose longitudinal channels receive two groups of movable temperature-sensing rods actuating movable sleeve having radial holes thereby enlarging or reducing flow section. Novelty in temperature controller is that it uses dilatometer effect of temperature-sensing element which, upon repeated multiplication on unequal-arm levers, actuates controller valve assembly to enlarge or reduce controller flow section.
