FOLDING VAN-BODY Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: automotive vehicles; folding trailers-caravans towed by cars. SUBSTANCE: van-body has lower horizontal platform 1 with vertical end face shields 2 and 3, two groups of five panels each which are hinge- connected to each other and with corresponding side of platform for turning in vertical cross plane. Two of end face panels are hinge-connected for turning in vertical longitudinal plane with upper edges of end face shields. Other end face panels are installed with possibility of their fixing on side walls of shields. In each group side panel 8 (13) and panels 6 and 7 (11 and 12), arranged between middle panel and platform 1, are connected to each other and to platform to provide their vertical arrangement on platform; other panels 9 and 10 (14 and 15) are installed to provide horizontal arrangement.
