FIELD: transport. SUBSTANCE: brake master cylinder has primary and secondary pistons forming primary chamber, and secondary chamber formed by secondary piston and bore bottom. Primary and secondary chambers communicate with reservoir, respectively, through primary and secondary expansion holes overlapped, respectively, by primary and secondary pistons. Surface of secondary piston arranged at side of primary chamber engages with bushing which has threaded rod coupled with primary piston and installed for free sliding in bushing. It has also device for changing maximum distance between primary and secondary pistons spring-loaded relative to each other by first spring and relative to bore bottom, by means of second spring. Preload of second spring is less than that of first spring. Spring serves to return pistons in initial position. Device for changing macimum distance between pistons permits adjustment which can be done from outside of master cylinder. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, reduced idle run. 3 cl, 1 dwg
