FIELD: power electronics. SUBSTANCE: in controlling converter under rated conditions assuming voltage-to-frequency ratio to be constant, 60-deg, variable-length modulating control signals determining converter output voltage value are shaped inside central clock intervals pn control half-cycles; they are shaped in centers of respective clock subintervals. Additional modulating control signal of 12-deg. Length is shaped in centers of mentioned clock intervals, within their 4/5 parts counting from initial frequency of entire range. Main array of modulating control signals is shaped within extreme 24-deg. sections on clock intervals. Reference synchronization points are centers of mentioned sections synchronized with respective boundaries of central clock subintervals or with center of central clock subinterval. Width of clock subintervals are varied as function of frequency according to piece-wise characteristic determined by respective factors characterizing control mode. EFFECT: facilitated control procedure. 2 cl, 6 dwg
