COMPOSITION FOR COATING APPLICATION Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: composition has, %: alkyde-urethan resin 10-14; diethylamine 2.1-2.7; zirconium dioxide 4-6; magnesium oxide 1-2; hydroxyethylated isooctylphenol (surface active substance) 0.1-0.5, and water - the rest. Resin is mixed with diethylamine for 5-10 min, diluted with water and under stirring surface active substance and a mixture of zirconium and magnesium dioxides are added. Mixture is stirred for 3 h. Composition is applied at the voltage 100 v for 2 min., and coating is dried at 200 C for 40 min. Coating properties: wearing is 0.09 mm/g, roughness is 0.2 mcm. Composition is used for coating of chemical current source with carbon and manganese dioxide electrodes. EFFECT: enhanced quality of composition. 1 tbl
