FIELD: construction and operation of railroads and motor roads and other engineering structures in avalanche-hazardous regions. SUBSTANCE: device has guard with poles 7, netted wall 1 and tension member 10 anchored in ground. Novelty consists in that guard poles are interconnected with horizontal rotating shaft 8 installed on which is stop tooth 9 and two rows of branch pipes 2 to which netted wall and pick rack 3 are attached at angle of 80-100 deg. to working surface of netted wall. Guard is movable in vertical plane and fixed by means of stop tooth in slope plane. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
