FIELD: extraction of sapropel and other loose grounds from water reservoir bottom. SUBSTANCE: method includes extraction of sapropel by means of movable mining unit and hydraulic conveyance. Extraction is effected by fan-shaped stopes from periphery to center which is located on the bank. Device has tanks for receiving extracted material, electric drive and installed on floating base suction dredge, screw motor and auger working member communicated by means of flexible hose with tanks for mined material, base machine and drum for winding-on of flexible hose with turning platform. Tanks for mined material, electric drive and drum for winding-on flexible hose with turning platform are located on base machine. Flexible hose is reinforced by rope members.
