GEOMETRY TEACHING AID IN THE FORM OF FOLDABLE BODY MODEL Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: teaching aid equipment. SUBSTANCE: plates, simulating faces of a model, are in the form of rectangular pentagons. The plates are mutually joined with formation of a dodecahedron. Heights of four symmetrically arranged faces, laying in a symmetry plane, passing through apexes of these faces, are in the form of joint assemblies. The dodecahedron is sectional one. Inside of the model spacers are mounted crosswise. In a place of their crossing the spacers have a recess, equal to a half of their width. A guiding member with an elongated port in its center is arranged in the symmetry plane. The elongated port has a length, equal to the width of the spacer. The spacers are jointly connected with crosswise arranged faces, which are in pairs connected by elastic braces. EFFECT: enhanced structure of the model. 1 cl, 4 dwg
