FIELD: soldering of small parts. SUBSTANCE: soldering iron has body 1 split in place of connection of heating element 4 with contact stem 6 and housing connecting chamber 14. Body houses soldering rod 2, thermoregulator and support bushing 3 with heating chamber 15 which accommodates heating element 4 with insulation. Heating element is made of material with low coefficient of thermal linear expansion (Invar), and support bushing 3 is made of material with high coefficient of thermal linear expansion (duraluminium). Body 1 and support bushing 3 at side of soldering rod tip can be made cylindrically stepped. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 1 dwg
