FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: inert gases are produced through after-burning of exhaust gases in internal combustion engine cylinder accompanied by feeding oxygen-enriched air to it which is obtained by separation of atmospheric air by means of gas-separating diaphragms. After after-burning, exhaust gases from engine cylinder are fed to additional gas-separating diaphragms. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
