FIELD: oil gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: method includes measurements of production rate of fluid, oil, water, and consumption of compressed gas, accumulated oil recovery, determination of calculated oil recovery, determination of calculation coefficients of rank correlation, growth of rate of oil and water recovery from reservoir and wells in time; selection of wells in groups from interacting ones; establishment of period of self-sustained fluctuations of formation system and unified operating conditions by groups of interacting wells in compliance with group characteristics. During first half-period of self-sustained fluctuations of formation system, operation of gas-lift well is discontinued provided the rate of withdrawal of oil from reservoir is more than, zero, and rate of withdrawal of water from reservoir is less than zero, and water encroachment of wells is higher than their critical water encroachment. Fluid withdrawal from wells is limited provided their water encroachment is less than critical water encroachment, rate of water withdrawal is less than zero, and rate of oil withdrawal is more than zero. Forced withdrawal of fluid is effected from wells provided well water encroachment is less than critical, rate of water withdrawal is more than zero, and rate of oil withdrawal is less than zero. During second half-period of self-contained fluctuations of formation system, actions are undertaken on wells corresponding to establishment of unified operating conditions by groups of interacting wells at the first half-period of self-sustained fluctuations. Simultaneously with measurement of withdrawal rate of fluid, oil and water, intake capacities of injection wells are additionally measured, as well as total volume of injected water, thickness of formation in injection and producing wells. Determined also are accumulated withdrawal of water and accumulated operating hours of wells since beginning of their operation. Then, reduced coefficient of reservoir drainability is calculated with subsequent construction of reservoir drainability map. After this injection wells are stopped provided the reduced coefficient of drainability exceeds 1, water injection into injection wells is intensified in zones where reduced coefficient of drainability is less than 1. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
