FIELD: equipment for mechanized coal mining. SUBSTANCE: hinged to shearer body 2 are turning reducing gear 1 with working members moved by rams 3. Each ram 3 is secured by means of eyes 12 and axles 7 with its one end to shearer body, and with its other end, to turning reducing gear. Shearer has dust suppression system with sprinkling unit 6 and jets. Each axle 7 has axial and radial channels for water feed to dust-suppression system. Axles of attachment or rams 3 to shearer body 2 and turning reducer 1 serve at the same time as sprinkling units of dust suppression system. EFFECT: higher reliability of shearer operation. 3 dwg
