FIELD: aircraft industry. SUBSTANCE: construction is loaded in chord area and linear displacements of two points are determined. Force-transmitting lever S is fixed to the construction and torsional vibrations are excited due to application of pair of forces P(t) with sign changing periodically to ends of the lever. Amplitudes a and b of vibrational displacements of the ends are measured. The point is determined according to the relation of a and b and known value of length lp of force-transmitting lever which corresponds to coordinate of projection of center of rigidity Ni of tested cross-section onto the surface of the construction from the relation given in the description of the invention.
