FIELD: railway automation. SUBSTANCE: device comprises pulse generator, three pulse counters, five flip-flops, two current commutating switches, five memory elements, four AND elements, two NOR elements, OR element, two AND-NOT elements and one shaper. The possibility of the locomotive to pass from any rail track to the adjacent one with any number of conditions of such passage is checked within the time of the larger cycle. The larger cycle is comprised of 128 cycles. The first cycle is used for recording information from relay contacts into memory elements while the last one, for rerecording information from the first and third memory elements into the second and fourth ones. The other cycles determine the possibility of passing from a section to adjacent sections. Each cycle consists of three time steps. The first time step is used to identify the address of the memory element, the second one, to select the memory microcircuit and the third one, to reset the flip-flop protecting the electric signal relay contacts against rattling. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
