FIELD: cutting pipes. SUBSTANCE: forces arising in tool 7 in the course of cutting are balanced by reactions on pins 8 in slots 5. In case force pushing out pin 8 exceeds force of precompression of spring, friction plates of clutch members are pressed by the difference of these forces, thus throwing them into engagement and braking pin 8 with tool holder 9 relative to chuck plate 2. Bracking of tool holder relative to chuck plate causes reduction of radial feed of tool 7 to complete discontinuation of feed, thus excluding wedging of the tool.
