FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: road wheel of running gear is installed on road wheel arm secured on vehicle body by means of axle. Track-carrying wheel is secured on spring-loaded lever by means of axle. Wheels are installed and secured by attachment system alternatively closer and farther from vehicle body. Width b of track-carrying wheel is less than half of width B of road wheel, i.e. b < (B/2). Such design of running gear prevents encounter of track-carrying wheels in motion and provides possibility of their compact installation on vehicle. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 2 dwg
