FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: track adjuster has tension wheel 1, crank with axle 2 and cheek 3 with end face teeth 4 engaging with teeth on body 5. Crank axle is rigidly secured in body. Crank cheek is installed sliding along axle. Crank locking mechanism is made in form of bolt 6 engaging with threaded hole of axle 2. Flange 7 of bolt is installed for turning in closed circular groove at side of outer end face of cheek 3. Hole 11 in tension wheel disk provides access to bolt 6. With bolt being turned counter-clockwise (right-hand thread), teeth of cheek disengage from teeth of body to provide adjustment of track chain tension. With bolt being turned in clockwise direction, teeth come into meshing and hold tensioned track chain in position. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
