FIELD: muscular-driven vehicles. SUBSTANCE: bicycle has two chain drives of bottom bracket shaft which are installed at right-hand and left-hand sides of bicycle frame. Each drive has sprocket installed on bottom bracket shaft and coupled with shaft through overrunning clutch and chain drive engaging with sprocket. Chain drive wraps around two guide sprockets one of which is installed below and other above bottom bracket. Pedals are secured on chain drive and interconnected by flexible nonextensible tie. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of vehicle which can be used by riders with different anthropometrical characteristics. 6 cl, 5 dwg
