FIELD: the invention relates to agricultural microbiology and biotechnology, preparation of agents for increasing the yield of legumes, more specifically rest harrow and is concerned with a new strain for preparing said agents. SUBSTANCE: the strain Rhizobium sp (ononis) is isolated from the nodules of restharrow plants. Said strain is deposited under No.5502 in the collection of the All-Russian Research Institute of Agricultural Machinery. In order to prepare a fertilizer, the strain is grown on a medium containing pea broth and sugar for 3 days, the resulting culture medium is mixed with peat based on the initial titer of bacteria of 0.15-0.8 billion/g peat in the peat and a moisture content of 45- 50% and kept at 10-15 C in darkness.
