FIELD: aircraft engineering. SUBSTANCE: rows of openings for fastening members, e.g., bolts, are made in sheets to be jointed. The openings of the first row, with respect to the point of applying load, have inclination which deflects from the direction of load action. The parts are assembled so that longitudinal axes of the inclined and answered perpendicular openings have common intersection points. The bolts of inner rows are received in coincident openings. The bolts are then received in the inclined openings of the periphery rows and nuts are tighten. This provides preliminary bent stress in the bolt rod. The place of preliminary stresses and place of maximum operational stresses are coincident in practice over the place of bolt shearing. EFFECT: enhanced longevity of the joint. 3 dwg
