FIELD: seismic prospecting. SUBSTANCE: field seismic prospecting system has digital N-channel seismic station, including analog-to- code converter, recorder, excitation moment check point circuit, control unit. Control unit has modulus operating mode selection unit and controlling generator. The seismic station is connected to seismic prospecting N-channel receiving line, comprising field n-channel floor-mounted moduli. The moduli have decoders of control instructions and instructions for modulus operating mode setting. Field n-channel moduli are introduced in each information channel of seismic N-channel receiving line with N being equal to or more than n. Control system for field moduli has programmable timer with inputs being connected to outputs of excitation moment check point circuit and recorder. Controlling generator and modulus operating mode selection unit are connected to timer outputs. Outputs of controlling generator and modulus operating mode selection unit are connected to inputs of control and information channels. Control system for field moduli has also address change unit introduced in the seismic station and connected to analog-to-code converter and recorders, and made in the form of microprocessor program controlled buffer memory.
