FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: combination working element of cultivator is designed for concurrent surface loosening of soil and subsoil application of liquid fertilizer. Working element comprises sweep 1 with shank, service fluid supply channel with individual cut-off valve and a filter, and one sprayer installed under the arch of the sweep center deflector made in the form of a flexible rack consisting of several flexible cantilever bars oriented parallel to the plane of symmetry of working element. Deflector bars take part in the distribution of the applied liquid over the length of the strip being cultivated. For this purpose said bars 3 are curvilinear in vertical plane and are bent down. Thickness and stiffness of bars diminish gradually from the nose of the sweep. As the element moves under the layer of soil, free ends of the bars of the arch-forming sweep portion touch upon the furrow bottom and spread the fertilizer along the cultivated strip.
