HACK Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: wood chemistry. SUBSTANCE: hack has cutting apparatus with cutting tool 2, handle 3 and movable handle provided with length control. Length control is made in form of a locker attached to the axis being common for handle and locker; the locker is made of two pieces. The first one is mounted onto the part of the axis which has rectangular profile and spring-loaded relatively the last one. It has bell-crank mounted on hinges onto the handle of the locker. The other part of the locker is fixed onto the round of the axis, spring-loaded relatively axis of rotation and is provided with drums with flexible rope; free end of the rope is attached to cutting tool. Surfaces of the locker which are in contact have tooth-shaped surface. Length control may be made in form of a lever connected by hinges with cutting tool. Free end of the lever has fixing member 17 for interaction with rests 16 disposed along the length of the lever. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
