FIELD: animal breeding. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding the sheep daily within a month with formula feed mixed with unwashed paste (10-12 g/animal) or suspension (60-50 ml/animal) of iron or copper ferrocyanide. If animals feed on fodder contaminated with radionuclides of cesium this ration reduces transition of radioisotopes into meat. EFFECT: reduced transition of radionuclides of cesium from contaminated fodder into meat products achieved by introducing selective sorbents into animals' ration. 4 tbl
