Speed limiter with sheave 6 has wire rope 7 connected by one end with tensioning device and by other end, with arrester engagement mechanism lever installed on cabin 1. Tensioning device has weight 8 and guide 9 with two vertical travel limiters for weight 8. Drive emergency release is secured on span of wire rope 7 coupled with arrester engagement mechanism lever higher than point of lever connection. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 3 dwg
