FIELD: textile-finishing manufacture. SUBSTANCE: fabric made of the oak silkworm silk is refined by wetting in urea aqueous solution at concentration 0.005-0.100 wt.-% at 40-45 C for 4-10 h, and then boiled in soda ash aqueous solution in the presence of oleic soap for 10-25 min. Fabric retains fine natural color and precious luster of oak silkworm fiber. Rupture strength of fabric by warp and weft is increased by 9.6-12.8 and 7.7-8.2 gs, respectively. Rupture elongation by warp and weft is increased by 2.0-3.1% and 2.2-2.7% , respectively. Fabric capillarity is increased by 2 mm/5 min. Resistance to light weather is increased by 2 scores. EFFECT: improved method of fabric refining. 2 cl, 1 tbl
