FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: device for sinking holes in ground has body 2 separated into sections by partitions. Each section has annular piston 10. All pistons 10 are secured on rod 6. Connected with body 2 are tail part 3 and cylindrical spreading part 5 and conical front part 4 of working member 1. System for supply of working medium has two lines. The first line is communicated with tail spreading part 3 and sections of body 2, and the second line is communicated with cylindrical part 5 and sections of body 2. Compressed air is supplied alternately to both lines that causes alternate expansion of respective spreading part and rod. As a result, device moves in ground to form hole with high-quality walls. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation and improved quality of holes due to increased uniformity of hole wall deformation. 4 cl, 2 dwg
